The American Vote is a static atlas. We do not sell, share, or trade user data with anyone beyond the providers listed below. This policy describes what runs today and what may run if/when additional services are enabled.

The site may use lightweight, privacy-respecting analytics (e.g. Plausible) to count pageviews, referrers, and rough geography. No personal identifiers are stored. If analytics are not active, no analytics scripts load. You may decline analytics cookies via the consent banner whenever analytics are enabled.

Some pages may display Google AdSense advertisements once the AdSense account is approved and enabled. AdSense uses cookies to serve ads based on prior visits and to measure ad performance. You can opt out at google.com/settings/ads. If AdSense is not enabled, no advertising scripts load.

The site may participate in the Amazon Associates affiliate program. Once active, some links to Amazon will be tagged with our identifier so we earn a small commission when you buy through them. The price you pay is the same. If the program is not active, no affiliate identifiers are appended.

Tips through Ko-fi are processed by Ko-fi and its payment partners under their own privacy policies. The American Vote does not directly process payments and does not store credit-card numbers or bank details.

We collect an email address when you download a classroom packet, sign up for poster notifications, or request the embed early-access list. Emails are stored in Upstash Redis under a per-source set (one per use case) and used only to notify you about new ships related to that use case. We do not sell, rent, share, or upload these addresses to third-party services. To unsubscribe or request removal, email theamericanvote.team@gmail.com with the address you used.
